Check out my girl Willow. She has turned 10 and I’m in denial just like her mother. I’ve been photographing this style guru for quite a few years and had to come to terms with her double digits. She was pretty excited about it though. I was more excited to hear from her mom saying they were coming down to Florida on vacation and wanted me to squeeze them in for a birthday session. I would have moved mountains for this so it was a no brainer. Yes, I am obsessed with my Maine friends and so super excited when they schedule sessions with me here in Florida. Does quite a number on the self esteem I might say (xoxo). Oh and did I mention they just might make a trip back for Christmas? Please, PLEASE come back for Christmas!!! (insert me begging on my knees) Those were some of my favorite sessions with this mom/daughter duo. But right now my heart is happy I got to see this 10 year old for her birthday session and I would be amiss if I didn’t mention that I think she grew 2 ft since I saw her last year….how does this happen? Anyway Miss Willow is a force. She is amazing, funny and I believe I’ve described her like this before- Dances to the beat of her own drum and owns it. And I LOVE it. Yes she picked out her own fun outfit to begin the shoot and yes it was perfect. Girl makes me laugh so hard that my face hurts when her session is over. I look forward to this every year. Blessed I got to experience it this year once again. Happy Birthday precious Willow. Stay your perfect self. Always dancing, always having fun.
